CICLA is a collaborative framework composed of highly qualified professionals based in New Zealand and Latin America. It is developing a multimedia platform dedicated to the distribution of educational and intercultural content, encompassing areas such as language and culture learning, curatorship in performing arts and film festivals, as well as academic and creative research presented in museographic, documentary, and written formats.
CICLA operates through a flexible structure that welcomes contributions from governmental and business organizations in both New Zealand and Latin America, as well as cooperative work with universities and research institutes. Its main goal is to foster the development of intercultural knowledge between Australasia and Latin America, thereby facilitating economic, political, and cultural relations.
The project is being developed within the Communication for Social Change Research Center at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, under the direction of one of its associates, Dr. Carla Grosman.
